I hope they all get deducted points for the start of next season. Minimum 12 each. Might be enough to throw one or two into a relegation battle, especially Arsenal and Spurs who are mid-table fodder anyway.
John Barnes has summed this all up perfectly on the BBC morning show. He is the first person to get it right in my view.
Is there any surprise that Real Madrid are in massive debt, when they pay Bale £300k a week to play golf, and he doesn't even make the Ryder cup team?
This is abhorrent.... pay them not to do it!!!??? UEFA offered England’s six clubs a significant sum of money to leave the Super League. The same offer wasn’t made to Spanish clubs who are seen as the association’s main enemy
Yes stinks a bit but I don't know how reliable Mundo Deportivo is, also does offered also mean accepted?
Juventus chairman Andrea Agneli, founder of the ESL with Perez, has now confirmed that without the English clubs, the ESL is finished.
Nine of the twelve clubs have now formally withdrawn, not sure what the other three are buggering about at.
probably trying to avoid any financial penalties for leaving / sue the rest for damages and reneging on signed agreements
It will be interesting to see what punishment if any is dished to these so called "big six" by the footballing power's, they really need hammering just hope they not let of the hook.
Interesting that the 14 clubs left out this ESL farce can't agree what if any punishment, some actually think that because they've backtracked they should be let off, if that is the case and it happen that's just another kick in the bollocks for football fans.
More Chief Executives to get the boot like Woodward if the other 14 clubs get their way by the sound of it.
All about fan power. Apparently when discussing the power of fans and how this has clearly downed the "Super League", a brief mention of Hull City fans refusing a name change to Hull Tigers as an example of the influence of fan power was mentioned today on Irish National Radio.
