    He’d probably get a big contract if he left on a free. City and Chelsea have history of signing English back ups to help with the home grown quota. He’s been a number one at a middling PL side for a lot of his career, can see the appeal in going to a top side to be the cup keeper, potentially more if injuries happen

    If all our keepers walked in the summer I wouldn’t bat an eyelid tbh. None of them are any better than average and would replace with Johnson from WBA with glee. Can’t see anyone wanting Forster on his enormous wages and seeing his quality

    Seemingly just from a comment on here. Nothing yet to substantiate it.

    And in any event, Gunn does still exist. It's not like we only have two keepers.

    Agree. They’re acceptable PL keepers at best.

    I do think it’s weird how Forster was nailed on as England number 1 and he’s now deteriorated to a level where we just want rid of him.

    That's what I thought. Only place I've seen it is from that one person on here. Not sure I'm quite ready to believe it yet. We do have average keepers, but we are an average side so they are our current level. And given our lack of funds, I'd rather try and improve elsewhere tbh.

    There are probably a couple of you but not seen anything to give me any confidence in his ability to be anywhere near a Premiership quality keeper

    Was only the keeper during the best period of Saints’ defence in modern times. His major injury saw our defence weaken quite considerably and he hasn’t been the same since.
