Every footballer has a right to be able to train and maintain their fitness. Hence why you see banished players training with the U23's or U18's or whatever. I'm fairly certain clubs can't stop players using the facilities unless there's good reason.
Ok he can use the gym. But they have to play bad music, really loud. And set the air conditioning a bit too low.
"Under £10m" is rather limiting. For instance, neither of the players targeted will go for that. No well-regarded players overseas will go for that. Most competent janitors will cost more than that.
Bucket and chuck it was the etiquette on the 3/4 tonner (racing yacht) I used to crew on so as not to upset the balance of the boat especially on a run.
Why stop at those clubs you mentioned, i think most clubs in the Premiership have a record signing that is more than ours. Look at Leicester, West Ham, Everton, Villa even Utd, not Manchester but Sheffield who have signed players for a higher figure than us. Unfortunately I'm not even sure our much applauded academy is producing that much. We definitely need a new buyer who is prepared to invest!!!!
But spend it wisely. Shef United record signing has not helped them too much. And when we have spent big in the last several years we have wasted it
Let me think £1mm for Rickie and £20K for Jimmy case. Two great value signings. Oh and £10-12mn for Van Dick was not bad
We have, but a club that wastes money on £20m transfers will also waste it on £10m transfers. The trick is to not make a series of terrible decisions.
Said it once (at least), will say it again. If I'm a very good boy, and we can't/won't get Patson Daka. Please Santa Gao, can we just try and get Alexander Isak?
