    Well, that's undeserved.

And it's that overrated twats first goal as well. The Liverpool fans will be jizzing everywhere.

Well played, if we had some strikers we would have got something out of this as they were there for the taking at times

The difference is that their keeper really owns his area whilst neither of ours do. Allison is like a sweeper - a slower keeper and we’d have got at least one goal

Played well in the main, but another defeat and 0 points to extend our woeful record.

Ultimately this result was a strong possibility. But, I liked the endeavour. Just need our strongest team. Sigh.

Tells you everything that their keeper gets MOTM, and rightly. Though our finishing has helped him out an awful lot too.

Watching the game with a mate who’s a Liverpool fan. Thinks that it probably should have been a draw too.

No real substitutions available. If Che, Tella and Walcott couldn’t score, then Obafemi, Djenepo and Diablo weren’t going to be a better option.

Saints did OK but didn't take our chances. Obafemi looked lively and Armstrong so much more effective out wide.

    Lincoln’s turn for a thread I think.

    Call 116 123 though after.

Results like this don't hurt. The ones that do are the 3-0 Leeds, 3-0 West Brom etc. Shame, as we've been ok over the last three matches against Tottenham, Leicester and Liverpool. Shame we couldn't have done similar against lesser teams.

We've only got two attacking players who we can rely on. One of them was injured and the other was playing CM.

Even Newcastle have more options than that. The side who, according to their fans, have no attacking bones in their body and the worst owner known to man.

MOTM for me are O'bafemi's pecs. The lad has been hitting the weights.

Didn’t expect anything from the game anyway, but our method of playing the ball out is concerning. It’s pass, pass, pass, eventual hoof after a bit of pressure, then lose the ball.

It’s ponderous, wasteful and I don’t think we have the players to cope with playing that method well, so that part falls with the coaching team to try and sort out soon.
