Just copied and pasted this. Manchester City and Tottenham fans under the age of 18 will not be allowed to attend the Carabao Cup final next weekend under the final Government rules published on Tuesday. It was confirmed last week that the Wembley final will act as an official pilot event with fans in attendance as part of the UK Government's roadmap out of lockdown. Thats as much as I know mate.
Kept my season card going so I'm 1 of the 12000 who I guess will have a better chance of acquiring 1. While I cant wait to get back to the stadium the prospect of sitting on my own with 2 seats either side of me in a 48000 seater stadium ain't that appealing. The football ain't the only thing that makes a matchday for me so I'm probably gonna pass on the option of a ticket and hope come the start of next season we are back to normal with 30k ish there every week.
I will be brutally honest the thought of going to a game is the only thing that’s kept me going last 14 months, will be absolutely crestfallen if I don’t make it. 20+ loyalty points, season card holder 13 consecutive years including renewing for this current season. I don’t see how I can miss out but given how the last year has gone, I thoroughly expect to miss out .......
I’m sure you’ll get a ticket mate. If there’s around 10k out of 12k available, then there’s surely 2k fans who either won’t be able to go, or won’t fancy it. Either nervous or just decide against it if they can’t sit next to family/mates Good luck
Did you get a full rebate on your season ticket even though you watched it on SAFC, thats one of the reasons I did not watch it on that channel
Ah yes.... the most deserving fan in the world has to go. I mean, I’ve been going since 1981. Went 11 seasons without missing home or away before you daughter was born in 2010 (only season since before roker closed I haven’t had a season ticket and I still went to every game). And also one if the most negative I’ve ever known! Frankly, due to what Wolfy says, I hope you’re whinging about not getting a ticket! Don’t need negativity in the ground like yours
Really really hope so not just got a feeling it’ll only be something like 5K season ticket holders as they’ll have gave so many to Corporates, leaving some for a more general ballot etc.
People who are most negative about the club tend also to be the most passionate about them. People who are angry and upset when we lose tend to be the most negative. People who it doesn’t mean as much too can afford to be more glass half full etc.
So, because I love my club and don’t slag them off at every opportunity like you do, I’m not as passionate about them?? mag wum
As a club we’ve had years of heartache upon heartache. I don’t see what is so controversial about saying that. The most passionate fans take defeat the worst so invariably are going to be more negative.
Seriously??? You don’t think it’s controversial to say you love them more because you slag them off more? also, do you think I just accept defeat as “one of those things”? I don’t get angry because I’m positive? You’re seriously the worst fan I have ever seen if you even are one I’ve been going 40 years. Probably seen more of that heartache than you could ever imagine. Every Wembley appearance except Pompey and that was due to work. But in order to be passionate, I have to simply be negative. well at least I know now
Orrr.. the worst type of fan sees no positive in victory? Which also fits in perfectly with your agenda
In order you don’t have to be passionate you don’t have to be negative, no, but there’s a strong link between the two.
No one on this planet wants this club to more successful than me. You know my feelings on the manager but I won’t bring it up again until needed.
