I really thought I would defo cancel this time, I couldn't see them offering me any where near what I would accept. Clearly they have thought ahead and know footie fans are all going to be cancelling this time of year. Tenner a month is nowt, I'd have only put it in Amazon's pocket otherwise for something.
I pay quite a lot overall as I have Netflix Amazon and Sky, I get moaned at by the kids if I look to cancel any of them.
I pay for Amazon, which is £7.99 a month, but no extras on top of that. And my kid has me connected to his Netflix somehow. I use to have his Amazon as well, but over last Christmas I needed to order a fair amount of stuff, so signed up for the Prime delivery and tbph I never cancelled it, as I'd intended. I think that was because they gave us some footie.
I stopped paying for NowTV about December time as I was bored of footy with no fans but they've never switched it off bizarrely so have had it for free for about 6 months.
Interesting to know. It makes me wonder you saying that, whether they have to have x amount of viewers to cover any contractual advertising revenue. Probably not in your case but was just a thought.
I buy the mini cans if I want a mixer, I buy the glass bottles to drink straight from the bottle. Lovely stuff, I don't drink pop often but the glass bottles remind me of when I was a kid.
Did you know that these days in the digital era, that ads are personalised to the subscriber? So a company can choose which geographic area, age and social demographic that they want their ads broadcast to. So your neighbour and you could be watching the same programme and be served with completely different adverts.
Spent last 2 days in the garden giving the fences a coat and also a bit of gardening ... put in a new flower bed with an obelisk about 3 weeks ago and put some plants that were in pots in it ... thriving! Missus also built another vertical planter ... not much scrap wood left now! ... this one got 2 lots of strawberries in it ... mid and late season fruiting... pics below
Must be just the London crackhead ones, never ever had a squirrel pull out plants. Birds can do though.
