    Mason Greenwood has withdrawn from the England squad due to an underlying injury.

    Jesse Lingard has not been included in Gareth Southgate’s final 26-man England squad.

    Southgate says he's planning to start Lingard in England's game against Austria on Wednesday despite dropping him from the final Euros squad.

    **** knows. Could've taken either Lingard or Ward-Prowse or even both but he's told them to **** off home because he can't make the difficult decision of choosing his right-backs so he's decided to take all of them.

    The fact he's taking Walker + three other right-backs tells me he's planning on playing a back-5. He'll probably play two defensive mids in front of them as well.

    Actually, thinking about it now, he's probably playing Lingard because he's giving the Man City, Chelsea and Utd lads a rest.

    Trent Alexander-Arnold to miss Euros with England. Scans have shown a thigh injury which will sideline him for around six weeks.

    Will he pick Ward-Prowse or Lingardinho or will he ask Wan-Bissaka to get on the plane? Personally, I think Wan-Bissaka's a more solid defensive right-back than the four Southgate picked anyway but that midfield looks a little light.

    Seems the suggestion is that any replacements are likely to come.from those not initially included in the 26 man squad but originally in the 33, given they are already included in the squad 'bubble'. That would rule.the likes of Wan Bassaka out. However with major doubts over the likes of Henderson (set back in training apparently) and Maguire twt. My money is on Godfrey being included .. can play right across the back 4, gives Southgate options then, but I also think we may see a bit more squad shuffling before the competition starts, due to the injuries. Southgate is going to name any replacements after our last friendly.

    There's more players from the Championship in Euro squads, than there are from France's Ligue 1 and only 8 players less than Spain's La Liga.

    We’d certainly have an advantage with
    12 players on the pitch….so long as it
    includes 6 right backs…
