Exactly right - I don't know if he's been asked to explain that yet but what he was doing that far up is anyone's guess. It wouldn't surprise me to see Craig Gordon between the sticks on Friday.

Yes - it was competitive and both teams had chances.

You forget for all the world class attacking talent there was both teams have very good defences so it probably wasn't going to be a goal fest as some hoped.

France got their goal which was well worked even if messed up by Hummels at the end.

Then they sat back and broke on the break as you might expect with Mbappe up front.

He took advantage but VAR wasn't on his side and tbf the calls were right.

I am not sure we'd want to play France tbh
