At Chepstow I felt it worth chancing that Sizu could have improvement to come after being off since January.

Mark Prescott's Lawman filly was the rankest of rank outsiders in three starts in November and December of last year. Those runs saw her allotted a mark of 64 on official ratings and she made her Handicap bow off that rating when weakening into fourth of five runners at Lingfield over 10F, Dropped to 61 now she lines up at Chepstow over the same trip. Her chance is reliant on improvement but the stable have had plenty who have done that over the years,

The opposition today is at a fairly low level and top weight Big Little Lie has to be a danger after winning last time out. That win was off 54 though and she is on 62 now, Jockey Saffie Osborne was claiming 7 lbs last time and is only claiming 5lbs today. Her Way is on a low enough mark for a Roger Charlton horse of just 54 and was second last time in a class 6 race from 1 lb lower. She also comes into consideration.

Sizu ran in a shade better company last time and two horses from that race have won three races between them and every win is a little bonus in these waters. At 9/2 I felt she was a play for a shrewd stable.

    1.55 Chepstow Sizu 9/2

Landed a hattrick in staying handicap hurdles in 2019 and his 3rd place at this track last time out returning from a break was promising. Talented Ben Jones keeps the ride and takes off 3lb. Yard didn't have a runner recently so stable form is an unknown. I think this one has a solid each way chance.

19,40 Misty Millie 12/1 e/w Sky four places, bet365 three.
Many non-runners, including one of the main favourites, so I back a mare that alternates jumps and flat.
