    ^^This, 100% this.

<However, if we could perhaps wrap it up early doors with 3 or 4 goals so I can relax slightly and enjoy my in match drinking for once that would also be fine :emoticon-0102-bigsm >

I was delighted Kane got on the scoresheet against Germany.I know it's becoming a bit cliched(media etc) but I personally and genuinely thought that he just didn't look 100%...

I think the goal was the best tonic that could happen for him(and us) and hopefully we'll see him terrorising the Ukraine defence tomorrow night and yes,I can see him scoring again,he's sniffed blood now:emoticon-0148-yes:

I've driven from simferopol to alushta a few times awful road full of potholes - one of the planes I was on from Kiev to Simferol must be one of the worst I've ever flown on - all the seat backs folded flat on the seat and were falling apart - the thing could hardly take off and seemed to reach a couple of hundred feet them levelled off for ages before it started to ascend again- a few vodkas before getting on would have been welcome - was offered a job in Donesk at one stage but as it was a bit oligarchy I decided I preferred a job where job failure wasnt linked to life expectancy - however Kiev is a great city and the people are great too - good visit to the ballet there too

I thought is he half fit or just lacking confidence, don’t think he made the runs he normally does however he’s such an important player, hopefully that goal will make all the difference because if he gets back fully on his game we have a great chance of not just winning this game but winning the full tournament.

That’s ridiculous if true. How is that decided that all the officials are from one nation?

Sounds great. The roads in Ukraine/ Moldova were like that, but the route to and in Transnistria were pristine ! Fascinating country, though we had to be accompanied by a Guide (who I'm told more than likely worked for the KGB) who only let us see what they wanted us to. Apparently they have absolutely no unemployment or crime there !!!! :emoticon-0136-giggl

I'm not sure, but you could actually be right.
Everyone (especially Mrs A) who knows my mate who took us on this journey is convinced he is a spy. He has worked for years as a TV journalist in the Ukraine as well as a long list of politically iffy countries. When he got us to lie about our occupations/ reason for visiting etc to very scary looking Russian border officials (who were carrying machine guns) when entering Transnistria and then to our 'Guide', I did wonder!.

It'll be a tough old game this with a very partisan crowd, We've got what's needed to beat anybody, just need to make sure we bring it on the day.:emoticon-0148-yes:
