I'm firmly behind Italy for this.

What that little bastard sterling did last night was disgrace and the country has chosen to celebrate it rather than have a word.

The abuse this country has thrown at Maradona since 86 and the moral high ground has been thrown away.

I can't express how disappointed it is seeing sterling do it, but the failure of my countrymen to address it is a disgrace.

If Italy win via a cheat it'll me ****ing great and sterling, England and the lot of you will deserve it.

    You've put yourselves in checkmate.

    FORZA ITALIA

    2-0

It was a soft penalty yes. But you can bet your bottom dollar Italy would do exactly that and worse against us on Sunday.

    I guarantee it.

Tough game against a good side. My head says maybe we lose 2-1. My heart says we win 2-0.

    So going with the heart.

We will have to be ready for their dark arts. Italy will try to con the ref and get a rise from us throughout. Masters at it. I’m sure Southgate will have prepared them for it.

Looking at our players, they hold none of the fear of losing that previous teams had. They will be going out there to win, and I think we will by 2-0.

Is this the same Italy that Immobile plays for?

I've put us down for a 2-0 win. If at least one of them is a soft penalty we will bear witness to events, the combination of which are about as rare as Halle's Comet - England winning a major tournament and @Roy Munson drowning in a vat of his own self-righteousness.

The pen we got was soft. The pen we didn't was stonewall. So it balanced out. Did Denmark deserve to go through? They wouldn't have scored if Pickford was even a half decent 'keeper.

Italy scare the life out of me though - they play anti-England, it's high press, it's fast, when Denmark did that last night we struggled they just couldn't keep it up due to fatigue.

The final is an achievement I think, and we go into it as underdogs.

We will see what the Italians are made of if we are ahead. I know one thing, if they are trailing they will stop their time wasting antics. As my old man used to say: "You can always tell the team that's losing" (For Cans...that means they get play moving again quickly).

Completely disagree really. England deserve to win, Denmark deserved to lose. England controlled massive portions of the game, and all Denmark did was sit back after going 1 goal up, and hope we didn't score. For a short while they looked a threat on the counter, but even that fizzled out for a while, and throughout most of the game it was pretty much all England.

If you sit back and park the bus, the more and more the ball is in your final 3rd or your box, the more and more chance this sort of thing has of happening.

The referees reviewed it on VAR and decided it was a penalty. Sterling may have gone down easily, but I don't think it was complete dive, because if it was it wouldn't have been given as a pen.

It was a soft pen, but I have no sympathy for Denmark because this is what you risk happening if you're getting dominated and parking the bus.

We deserved to win last night, simple as.

    That's an illogical argument

England cheated to win it doesn't matter how they played

Mark my words I have no sympathy when England or Newcastle get robbed... I've taken a mental note and I'll be reminding you all

I absolutely am and I'm for once deadly serious on this one.

Cheating makes me sick mate.. We all know whay it's like, so I'm not going to turn a blind eye when it's my country doing it.

It's an absolute disgrace and thankfully there's a minority of England fans saying th same.

All the excuses people are finding to justify it though... Get a grip ffs lads..

    We're England not Argentina

This country has cried its eyes out in documentaries every year since 86 and now they're saying it's fine when it works for them...

You can all drown in hypocrisy, but I will keep my moral values thanks.

Time will see me provide you all with deliverance on this one.

    I agree with you Roy
He is a little **** and I hate the way he minces round the pitch, never gets near a tackle or block
The pen was soft yes, on another day it may or may not have been given, but it was VAR checked
Try not to put a damper on the one result which has put a smile on 99% of people’s faces after a ****ing horrible year + for everyone

Will watch this at home, watched the Germany and Ukraine matches at the pub then last night's at home, and came to the conclusion that the viewing experience is generally better without a room full of knuckle dragging chav retards singing "it's coming home" every 10 seconds.

Team wise I'd say Italy are slightly better than us, and are far more experienced in finals/semi finals, but I think our momentum and home advantage may give us the edge here, so I'll go for a 2-1 win to us.
