May not be everyone’s choice but not a single player got past him, unbelievable pace….I can’t argue with this…on a side note my Mrs makes bows for his other half..
He's still got it. Hope he keeps fit for 2022. Trent is a talent but Kyle Walker has experience and pace.
Walker, Mings, Stones, Phillips, Shaw and Harry M were excellent. Decent:. Sterling, Kane, Pickford, Trippier, Bellingham, White, Henderson, Grelaish, Saka Disappointing: Mount, Foden, Sancho (but not his fault) ditto Chilwell and Calvert-Lewin Surprisingly good. *Rice.. * Top England player for me...
How many 'other halfs' does he have? https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...er-over-sex-party-that-broke-quarantine-rules
Walker was up there, but he did have one dodgy game where he kept giving the ball away in positions which against a better team could have been punished. Possibly the Scotland game? Harry hardly put a foot wrong, and I dont think that's my City bias as I never rated him! Stones too, though he rarely gets a mention, and of course Shaw. I thought Rice shaded Phillips. Add Pickford, who had a great tournament though his kicking went haywire vs Denmark. That's a cracking back 7, which explains why we only conceded two goals.
FWIW, agree with Mourinho. Thought Walker was outstanding. Nods to too many to mention. p.s. where is the official England PoTT thread (you know the drill .....)
So you've put a player who didn't get a game, in the same category as a player who took it upon himself to drag us to the Final?
Christ, I'd forgotten him but pretty much agree upto the final, Think I've got 9 now, Not sure how they didn't win!!!!!!!!!
