Not sure that’s quite appropriate given we’re talking about a bloke who’s literally just carked it because he’d fallen for a conspiracy theory, but hey ho, each to their own.
HIAG used to be a frequent poster on the Spurs board in the early days of not606. I think he then moved his main activity to the PL board where I hardly go, so I hadn't had much interaction with him for a few years. Despite all of that I am sorry to hear of his demise to this pandemic, no doubt he will be missed.
Real shame to hear. I said I was glad he left the forum as he wasn’t his usual self, very snappy and nothing like the self proclaimed “wum god” joker he used to be, I didn’t think the place was good for him in the end. Was hoping he’d be doing well now but evidently not. Covid really is a bastard. All in all HIAG was a top bloke who brought many laughs to the forum, both on here and the Prem board. I’ll miss the guy that’s for sure. RIP, bud.
HIAG was the first poster that I had any real interaction with back in the 606 days. I'd posted some considered (and probably as boring as ****) piece on something that I can't remember. HIAG responded by telling me that was all very well and good, but he was off to some other club's board to wum them about some transfer that had gone badly for them...and that I should come and join in the fun. He was all about the wum, no matter the circumstances...and a small part of me almost expects that this is a really intricate one at someone's expense. Thoughts go out to his family and friends. RIP, fella.
That's awful news about HIAG - assuming it is true and it does appear to be. Part of him will be glad to know his demise made the nationals, but perhaps not for being a fool. Interacted with him a lot in the early days - especially on the Chelsea board where they had a vendetta against him - and he was a funny guy. It also seems a lot of what he said about himself was true (anything about helicopters and holiday homes in the coverage?) and so I guess he gets a final ownership. That said, RIP mate, it was fun for a (long) while. Just wish you didn't fall for the bullshit.
He really wound up the Cheisea board and Piskie to the extent that they kept trying to point out inconsistencies in his posts which simply led him on to wilder flights of fantasy. His username should have been approved of by Chelsea fans of course.
That result kept City adrift in the relegation zone, where they finished. Haaland's dad played for them in the match and should've given a penalty away.
But, of course, saying their league position is entirely down to those bankrolling the club is sour grapes...
