Off Topic NETFLIX and Box Set series Thread.

just watched ted lasso, first episode and a half in i thought it was gonna be too predictable and cheesy but it developed into something a bit more than just a comedy based on us/uk language differences. in the end we loved it. second series started last night?

i enjoyed we're the millers also starring the main dude and will look out for some of his other stuff.
(cant spell his name so he will remain the main dude)

Killing Escobar was quite a good documentary, repeats on BBC 2 tonight.

 

Absolutely and completely obsessed with “ The good doctor “
Started watching it in Spain at my daughter’s place.
Just on to the second series, the fact there is only two
more after series 2 is a little upsetting and watching them
count down every episode. We have a grandson who
is on the spectrum, some of the characteristics displayed
by the lead character our Phoenix has such as noise and
not being able to cope in certain situations. It is a
wonderful watch, how he proves people wrong does
bring a smile to me. It's up there with the other brilliant
hospital shows over the last 30 years or so...
Highly recommend!!!!!!

 

We've watched all four series, and really enjoy it. Freddie Highmore plays his part really well, 'you're going to die!'

Against my expectations, I am currently enjoying Ted Lasso. An American Football coach is recruited to manage a Premier League team.

 

if you like that then have a look at Intelligence starring the asian kitman dude and david schwimmer who sends himself up perfectly. has some funny laugh out loud moments.

just finished watching Manifest series 3 . its a proper cheesy american series but im addicted too it

ends on a cliffhanger and cancelled by its network ahead of 4th series, but they are reportedly reconsidering after fans protest took it to the top of Netflix watched list .
we should of got them on board with us years ago.

 

I stopped watching a few episodes into Season 2 I think. I just couldn't do anymore of it!

Must be a different Good Doctor to the one I found on Netflix. Mine was a Korean version of Casualty! Not a Ducati or even a step-thru in sight!

 

I quite like it too. A bit like The Archers, ignore the characters but you do learn a bit about farming.

 

about 6 months late as usual, but just finished Your Honor.
thought it started well, but then got bit boring in midde, but stuck with it and picked up a bit towards the end, probably not as good as Gogglebox made it out to be too make me watch it , found the son really annoying

It has Freddie highmore in the title role. Really good watch, you will instantly recognise dr lim when she steps on set…!!!!!!
