LJ said he was losing sleep until he was told off. If you believe what comes out of football clubs that's up to you but fir various reasons they don't always tell the whole truth.

1. Would you care to answer my earlier question? 2. I would love you to back the above statement up. But you won't/can't.
Been a while since we signed someone on a perm who the selling club were gutted about losing. Sunderland done good.
Again a comment about how they value him. it truly looks like this is a move for the lads best interests than Tottenham. We will have to look after him or he comes cos could be bloody great for us.
well, something no one else seems to have aluded to in any detail...if these expected/hoped for transfers come off (and i am not counting my chickens by any means) it says a lot about the new recruitment team, i mean, it cannot be the easiest task in football to persuade an agent that his client will benefit more from a move to a 3rd division club than staying 'safe' in the premier league, maybe the young lads are also looking at the players in front of them and deciding a move is best for them but still, for a 3rd division club to even interest these lads is damn good going. aiming for players to fit a system has been tried before but was still a bit of a scattergun approach with 'friends' involved, this time it seems more focussed...there is, of course, no guarantee that a move will work for any number of reasons but i am getting the feeling that given time we will get the players we want/need, while us mere fans are getting a little bit of a fret on, those who can make a difference are doing just that, nice and quietly behind the scenes.
I think it also speaks volumes for the lad that he is leaving spurs and the premiership to get his chance. We are clearly looking at a players attitude, personality etc.
We pulled out of the Gallagher deal at the last moment because of the high sell-on fee that Liverpool were demanding. It shows that we aren't willing to let the big boys dictate to us which I'm happy to see.
We have a canny suite of attacking midfielders to pick from now, 2 or 3 from 5 in Neil, Pritchard, Geeds, Embo & Gooch. You might even add Hawkes to that group .....in time.
