You do realise that since Jones came in which was basically half a season nufc were the 10th best performing side in the league?

In fact for the last quarter (11) they were the 7th best

 

Yeah, but that doesn't mean we should be like "oh, well there was a relegation scare, but we finished 12th in the end, might as well not bother strengthening, we already have enough".

Just because we ended up finishing with comfort doesn't mean we should just settle.

We didn't survive due to jones or bruce, we survived because individual players showed up right in the nick of time and carried us.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with needing your best players, but we're just hoping now that the 2-3 star players we have don't get injured, because without ASM, Wilson and Willock we are a championship quality side.

We look so **** without those 3 it's unbelievable.
