Takeover (Covid-19/20)

I don't buy into all the conspiracy stuff. Ashley has already told the world we're skint and can't sign anyone.

January is early 2022 and the window is open, so it's the only time before summer this takeover could happen imo.

The new owners would be able to look at the clubs position and decide whether to go then or wait 4 months.

No, I get that completely - it's just Ashley causes such immediate suspicion and it's always a convenient time.

 

True, but Mike ashley had decided to sell the club. He wants it sold to this buyer.

He said Shefi Kuqi was going to have a trial period coaching the under 23’s and Craig Hope has confirmed it today.

Simon Zekaria has just confirmed that the whole thing is basically PL trying to stop the NUFC case because of what night come out, and that this may get resolved even before next week because even though next weeks thing is “narrow legal focus” it could still reveal some details the PL does not want in the public forum.

Sounds to me like they’re trying to stare each other down. But they’re staring at the wrong person in Ashley, that ****er hasn’t blinked in 27 years.

Can see it now, PL arguing that there is no public interest in having this case made public - Judge looks at the viewing figures and replies "Our highest ever viewings have only been 12, we currently have 52,000"

 

Let's hope nufc gets a win here and it'll be decisive imo

 

I go back to what I've always said. I wouldn't want to stand in the way of Mike Ashley over a £1 coin falling out my pocket and landing on the floor, never mind £300m
