Who do you want to see take the helm of the good ship Pompey?

There are too many names to mention, so I have given the top four most likely choices [shortest odds] with an A.N.Other option.

    So this poll is for

WHO DO YOU WANT TO BE POMPEY'S NEXT MANAGER

Edward Smith, Roger Grenville or Benjamin Briggs all have the track record for the job, but my money would be on A N Other. I have a feeling that the new appointment may be a complete surprise.

My dad. He'll get you relegated for sure playing his 3-1-6 System. Seriously though if Mr O Driscoll has not already been courted then your Russian mafia (sorry sports specialists) owners are madder than Gordon Strachan finding his yoghurt is past it's "best before" date.

I rather suspect that the choice of your new manager will be determined by the amount your owners can afford to pay & I suspect you Pompey fans really know in your hearts that this will not be a lot.
I read in the snooze last week that they thought David Jones would be too expensive & lamely added that his former Southampton connections could also be a factor with the fans. They conveniently forgot to mention that Stuart Gray is ex Southampton!
Like all us football fans, who cares about previous connections if they do a good job

The ex-Southampton connection would be of no consequence if he does a decent job. He would get the same respect and support as any other manager. Remember Alan Ball and Harry Re.. well, remember Alan Ball?

I like that devonFRATTONiser!! Rednapp only ever managed his own interests as we all know. You had your moments of glory with him in the seat, but boy at a very high price from which you are still unfortunately suffering the consequences. The likes of him move on & leave loyal fans to face the heartache.
Incidently, looking at the individual players you have on board, there is no way you should be struggling in the Championship.
The chances you missed at Ipswich were criminal!

Meowth, you must be being ironic! This is the umpteenth time that you have suggested Grant. Surely you don't want to give him an opportunity to complete a "hat trick". Be careful what you wish for!!!!!
