As Johnson has said we need a dozen more games before everyone settles in.

We have so many new players I'm actually surprised we look so organised for most of the game.

Having said that, going ahead sends us into a panic <laugh>

Definitely doing things the hard way but we'd have dropped a lot more points from this set of opening games in the past.

    Doyle.....
Made one vital block/tackle in the 2nd half but overall I thought he was poor. His distribution has been very good but today Bolton worked our pattern pretty quickly and applied pressure in good areas by pressing the options and not the ball. This resulted in Doyle being unable to pick his pass, holding on to the ball too long and almost getting caught out a few times and a number of panicked passes which played his man straight into trouble. Maybe it was just one of those days and I'm not having a moan it's just his performance stood out to me and I was a bit nervous when he had the ball by the end.

Obviously not every pass went astray and some were indeed very good but his ratio of good/bad was a bit off today.

Good result though we need to start taking a more of our chances.

I'll not make it to the ufc, but it'll be the first thing I watch tomorrow morning. Big brother Diaz fighting is guaranteed entertainment! I think he'll win, lawler didn't look great last time out.

Another great win in my opinion.....yes, may not been a classic from us but if we are winning when we are not at the top of our game then that points to a better future.
In life if you have the "if your aunty had balls she would be your uncle" thoughts then nothing is good enough. Let's enjoy the win and move onto the next one. Happy days :)

It's the perfect comeback fight for him. Lawler is clearly just there for his last paydays, now.

There's times I'd swap these days with the lads to have that, in all honesty.

    Enjoy yourselves, mate.

They certainly did. A few walking over to the ground singing their '****y ****y wanderers' ****e. Pretty embarrassing tbh, I thought they were quiet considering they have just come back up.

Bolton spoiled our little romp to victory by trying to win ...

...can't wait til we're in the Championship where it'll be so much easier.

There were a few who could have got clipped tbf. We walk back up for our lift that way from the Roker end and it looked a bit edgy by the aquatic centre when they were coming out. Mostly young kids though.

..... and in our 8 league games so far this season, we've played and beaten 6 of the current top 9 clubs. :1980_boogie_down:
