Soup Season Recommenced

Chicken noodle soup is great though, easy enough to make from scratch.

Must confess to being quite partial to an Oxo cube and dipping butterless bread into it at one time.

 

Boiling water with an oxo cube in it and then crack an egg in it. The egg gets poached.

And to think you had the nerve to criticise me for dipping bread into my soup. The ruddy cheek of it, I tell you .

As the cold winter months draw in, I'm left asking the question - chunky soup or hearty broth?

For those long weekends in France I'll dip into a lovely consommé - pronounced 'con som may' which only adds to the flavour.

And in China I often like a spicy wun tun inside me.
