Brian's Predictions League 2021/22 League Table What a difference a week can make ! There were some crazy scores around this week which made tipping very difficult. Events at Old Trafford put Watford's performance last week into a better perspective. Nobody got the scorelines at Chelsea, Everton, Southampton, Brighton, West Ham or Man Utd, which meant that if you missed out on the other 4 then it was a bad week - but with the Horns winning 5-2 who cares ! Highest of the round was Chris with an impressive 120 - much higher than anyone else - this moves him up into 4th. Frenchie also did well moving up into second. Bodbo got the second highest score with 92. Wow! I was 20th on the 19th September, shows you what can happen. Hopefully I'm mirroring Watford's form! Thanks Cologne
To even get a mention is a triumph for me. Much as I hope WFC mirror Chris' form, I think mine is closer !
Brian's Predictions League 2021/22 League Table Again the pendulum swings back and the Horns looked a shadow of what they looked last week. The same applied to Man Utd in the other direction. These results together with Man City losing and Liverpool losing a 2 goal lead made life very difficult for us on here. Some reasonable scores around and some very low ones (once again I was in the second group). Highest of the day was by JT Bodbo with 95 moving him 7 places up the table to 10th. Seb managed the second highest of the day to jump above his brother Matej and Frenchie closed the gap in NZ. Elsewhere it was hard going for a lot of us. Thanks cologne. I have had a few decent weeks on the run, so a shocker can only be around the corner.
My early form has deserted me. Frenchie is now hot on my heals, He is showing his class and will accelerate passed me, soon to be followed by Seb and Matej. It's no wonder I feel that the EU has it in for me.
This is weird ! I am having a nosebleed. What's more I, like Lawro I suppose , cannot bring myself to predict WFC losing , which handicaps me most weeks. ( But is easier for him given his favourite clubs usual performance). I fear though, I'm like our current team. A spectacular collapse is just around the corner. Oh how I hope not !
Brian's Predictions League 2021/22 League Table What happened to the team from Goodison Park a couple of weeks ago ? It all appears like distant history now as the Horns produce another insipid performance. Away from the stupid Premiership and into the FA Cup Boreham Wood made it through to the second round - though I did send messages to Lloyd Doyley that 1-0 was quite sufficient, but they had to get a second. The last time I looked St Albans City were 2-2 against league opposition at Clarence Park so we could have 2 local neighbours going through. In our league here the highest scorer was Mrs Fez with a huge 145 - Fez has to live with this for the next week In addition there were a few scores in the 70s - our Mark is coming up well and JT Bodbo did well for the third week running. The other Mark (from the BBC) slipped on a banana skin. I am showing solidarity with the Horns by mirroring their position We now have another 2 week break for boring internationals. Thank goodness for Man City. They saved me this week! One thing Cologne. I was on 757 last week and got 68 points this week but now have 770 points.
