I watched some of the Brentford Norwich game. It was awful. There are some really poor teams in the EPL this year. Surely we can be better than three of them? Brighton Newcastle wasn't much better.
All the results went our way so far We just need to compete tomorrow and have the right attitude when we take on a totally broken Man United team
What we need to do is turn up against teams people expect to beat or get points off. Nice to win v Everton and we always seem to beat Norwich but have to back that up which we haven’t done so far. We’ll do well not to be 2nd bottom after the Man C game .
I suspect he would have been philosophical - never struck me as the type to get angry or make waves about such things.
The trouble is with United, they have such talented players, that if they turn up on the day they will win easily. Tottenham away last weekend as an example.
Flipping heck - I hope we don't sign up to this. Why can't we just go to the match or watch it on the telly?
Like when Rodgers left Celtic for Leicester . A step up league wise and a different sort of challenge.
Premier League 2022/23 season to start on 6 August 2022 and finish on 28 May 2023; Mid-season break between November 14 and December 26 in order to accommodate World Cup; PL clubs unanimously oppose FIFA proposals for biennial World Cups
Hopefully that will concern us next season ! Totally agree with the clubs regarding a World Cup every 2 years - all about money from FIFA.
Impressive attendance for the Notts County v Solihull Moors National League game today - 12,843. I wonder if that's a record?
I noticed some good attendances at National League games at the weekend. I assume that the international break is the reason but people may get a taste for lower league football.
