I've just checked the finishing distance and it was only about 2 and a half lengths from the winner. That's a great effort in the context of that race. I'll be watching with interest to see what the handicapper does on the back of that.
....No mate..in Argentina decades ago, they were found to be illeagally passing a horsemeat mixture within the Fray Bentos brand of corned beef.
It only finished one length behind the winner. Hopefully the handicapper doesn't mark it up and it can go a furlong less next time. It's in form though and showing a good turn of foot. It won't be that big of a price next time out
Running again and paying 4 places so I've gone EW on it. The big price has been swallowed up and its generally available at about 14 or 16/1. The favourite is Harvest Day and the Mackem Torpedo finished just a length behind it last time out and is on better terms today.
