I really want to know what the hell happened with Mumba. He played the 1st game of last season out of nowhere and done alright and was only 16. He then got hauled off at half time against Luton the week after and was never seen again. Did he have an attitude issue? Or was he simply deemed not good enough based on 1 half of football? Christ sake we really know how to **** up young talent. We had Jon Egan and Connor Hourihane in the not too distant past and deemed them not good enough. Bet they're both pissing themselves laughing at us now.

 

Exactly. We have a knack of turning good promising players into pub league plodders within months. And we rarely seem to get the best out of anyone. I reckon that even if we signed Messi we’d turn him into a player good enough for Barry’s Fish and Chips reserve team within six months.
