Don't know what age your at Arnhem but us oldies have been getting flu jabs for years. This covid is just the same and I can see us having these jabs for years to come. Isn't there talk about trying to find a jab which covers both? Personally don't see owt wrong with trying to protect yourself, same with the face masks, me and the missus haven't stopped wearing ours when out shopping etc and don't see why people have an issue with it.
I don't see anything wrong with it? I just asked a question about who would be getting them... If I was over 60 or if I were obese, I'd probably keep the jabs going in all honesty. I'm under 40. I still wear a face covering when I go into shops.
Make that 100, and more. But it seems that kung flu is following the pattern of most viruses in that , it mutates regularly ( they think about 19,000 with this virus apparently) with some gaining traction and most not. The usual rhythm it seems is that the mutations get progressively much more infections, but at the same time weaker and less harmful. If, as they are saying in South Africa, the new one is having almost exclusively mild symptoms, then that would seem to tally with that theory. But it won't be going away. It's here, as other things are. One more thing that can knock us out. We either live with it now, or die worrying about it
Wyke suffered a serious cardiac arrest! Story on SKy Sports - https://www.skysports.com/football/...and-says-leam-richardson-helped-save-his-life
Jeez, such a shame. Glad that he seems to be on the mend. That'll be his football days over, now. Unfortunately.
Someone made a point that a virus wants to survive, it knows to kill us all , then it kills itself— so in mutating it’s looking for a form to allow it to co- exist with us.
Anybody with young'uns should seriously think about seeing this charity with them for a free screening... Cardiac Screening - Cardiac Risk in the Young (c-r-y.org.uk)
Are we sure about this? I can't see anything and he only released a statement earlier today about going home.
Wyke, 28, has been discharged from hospital with a defibrillator fitted. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59509672
Nothing about him being placed on a ventilator, though... I thought he was fighting for his life when I seen Gordons post. He's seemingly back home and recovering well.
