Lewis Hamilton and his Formula One team Mercedes are facing widespread pressure to back out of a sponsorship deal with a firm that manufactured cladding used on Grenfell Tower.

Mercedes announced a deal with Kingspan on Wednesday which will see the company’s logo featured on the team’s car, starting with the final two races of the season in which Hamilton is fighting for a record eighth driver’s title.
