I’ve started to think that our form isn’t linked to which pants I’m wearing, which is the most disturbing development.
I got my lucky red and white mug out of the cupboard for the first time this season yesterday. It’s back in there now. In other news, I’m starting to think that maybe Bill Shankly might have been mistaken…
People can't change their minds if they don't have a mind in the first place and that seems to be the case here.
6 big chances to go with the assists in comparison to Mo El's zero assists and zero big chances created in the same amount of matches.
Maybe Poch too, Osvaldo was with him at Espanyol for 6 months on loan, where he was prolific and kickstarted his career.
I think FF injury may be a bit like Stu Armstrong’s, tactical as they don’t want to play for us anymore ahead of a move next month
Is there actually any inside scoop on StuArmstrong wanting out? It keeps cropping up so I assume that’s coming from somewhere? He’s always been injury prone for us, granted this season worse than ever, but that alone wouldn’t make me think there’s something else going on other than he’s made of glass.
Which would make sense except for the very low likelihood that anyone will come in for FF next month. Why would anyone pay a fee for him now? Or pay him the wages he is on here which he can demand they do? When signing a new contract as a free agent he might have no choice but to accept a lower offer. And there is a good chance that the next one could be as much as half as his current deal. So why would he do that 6 months early. He has shown utterly zero intention to take a pay cut to get playing again. Why would that change ? What club out there is desperate enough when it comes to goalkeepers that they’d pay Forster his current saints wages from January to June. Oh. There is one. Us. Don’t get me wrong, I and many others would be delighted if someone does want him at his full / majority of the wages in January AND we are able to move to get a long term number 1 in. But the noises from the club simply do not point in that direction
I think it originated on Twitter. Surely if he wanted to go he would have gone in the summer. That was when it was claimed he was faking a calf injury to get out But the summer window is much more realistic time to try and secure a move So is far more likely to be a conspiracy theory . People love them
I felt that the Leicester performance was far better but the point was a fair reflection of the game. By contrast, I am still scratching my head as to why did did not grab all three points against Brighton who deserved nothing. If Broja has converteed the chance in the second half, I think we woul have gone oj to score more. As it was, an individual error cost us two points. I have to admit I have been very disappointed with both this resolt and the one against Norwich which I think represents five points lost.
There was but I cant remember where I read it tbh, from memory 9pre-season time) he wanted back to Celtic as he hadn't settled down South (probably too warm and sunny for a strawberry blonde Scot) and its coincidental that there have been all these mysterious injuries keeping him out the side. The couple of bits of games he has played her really didnt look like himself either Have Celtic got anyone we want to do a swop as I cant see them having the cash to buy him
I don’t think there is any one player they have approaching what we would value him at. Let alone one that we would want / need But I don’t recall that rumour being based on anything at all other than someone on Twitter
