Knaive to think he didn't, the bloke has lied so many times he doesn't even know what is true and what isn't anymore. Anyone with a shred of common decency I them would've resigned long ago, this will prove to be the straw that broke the camels back. It can't come soon enough for the good of the country !

...and possibly for the good of the Tory Party too. We'll wait for the facts from the inquiry. Any further obfuscation, and Boris Johnson is toast imo.

You’d return an actual turd in a blue rosette after it had just been caught coughing on pensioners.

I said a while back that Sunak was distancing himself from Boris. Even at recent PMQS he has hidden behind his rather large facemask. Boris is still popular with Tories (even after this) but he needs a bit of good news. He still has plenty of time to turn the public again. labour maybe 6 points ahead in the polls but when it come to actually voting in a GE people just have to look at their front bench with Captain Hindsight at the wheel and they come to their senses.

Go away and live in your weird vacuum ( in your head) :emoticon-0148-yes:
Anyway you know he will win even without my vote. Why would anyone vote for labour or the Green transformer with blue hair, piercings, tattoos and identifies what ever it is as man.
    Ain't gonna happen here mate.

Yes, it's premature to speak of his political demise but there needs to be transparency over partying at No 10. Boris Johnson will continue hemorrhaging support from the margins until there is. Labour is not a government in waiting, but the Tories want to avoid a small majority after the next election or even a hung parliament.

It won't get to a ‘hung parliament’. Personally I think people will see what's on offer and stick with what they have. Plenty of good Tory MPs up north making a name for themselves. It's just a shame Boris is making it tough for them. Down here the only threat is the Limps but they are pro EU so that will be their downfall ( other than the pro EU constituencies). London will stay the same and vote in the Labour elitists. Boris needs a good few weeks to get back his mojo... Although some are saying he is past that point.

In any other era he’d have resigned 100 times by now but in any other era he’d have been recognised as the ludicrously inappropriate candidate for the role that he is in the first place so he’ll probably limp on for another year before swanning off to put his name to some columns he barely has any input on for another £250k a year.

The problem is Watford no matter who is in charge you will always find the negative... Because they are Tories and you don't like them. I asked you the other day who would do a better job... And you said Labour <laugh>that demonstrates your lack of knowledge and understanding in UK politics. Maybe you should take on board a few of Goldie’s posts as he is generally spot on and you can learn a thing or two.
I probably will agree that Boris will swan off at some point and write a book on the battle of Waterloo or something... However that doesn't take away the fact that the opposition are unelectable. The Greens are a bunch of freaks, the Limps are still trying to fight the Brexit vote. Col and Surrey said yesterday that there is no Centre party... What does that tell you about Labour! They can't even attract the undisided voters! A party that is split between The slimey north London lawyers and left thinking northern MPs... You think they would do a better job? <doh>

You asked who would be better. If you’d asked who has a real chance of winning apart from the Tories I’d agree with you. I expect a lot of people will grind their teeth knowing Johnson and his party are awful ****s and vote for them anyway as there are a lot of shy Tories about.

The sooner the Tories oust Johnson, the sooner people will start to regain a little trust and take them more seriously. Until then its just constant damage limitation.

This is where the problem lies bob. Boris ( for all his faults) is a vote winner and many tories would worry if they put in someone without charisma. Look at Labour. Starmer comes across as a well meaning intelligent man but is dull as dishwasher and people turn off when he speaks.
It's a going to be tough to oust Boris if the MPs think they will lose their seats.

Think it’s more likely they turn on him, he takes the fall for the whole Party’s ineptitude and corruption and they pretend Sunak or whoever takes over is completely different as if they’ve not been in power for over a decade.

Johnson may have been a vote winner once, but no longer. People have seen through him now and the Tories won't win the next election with him in charge.

Is that why he is it higher in the polls than Starmer who people don't connect with.
Maybe Labour should bring back Jezza.
