I don’t recognise any of that Admittedly we’re not the ‘younger generation’ that he claims mainly feel antagonism to returners …but I’ve never heard any hint if that at all from anyone Has anyone else?
Perhaps, but that remains to be seen. If you've ever been watching a game, and had his commentary on, you'd think you had the wrong game up, and you'd certainly have precious little idea how we're doing.
I haven’t, I’ll just be glad to see less empty seats. If nothing else, it will help reduce the cold draft during these winter months.
I think it's all a load of nowt. All we want is to see the ground full again, included the Upper West Stand and everyone supporting the team/club 24/7 win lose or draw.
OK....think the wife is having an affair..she said I can go to hull tomorrow and stay the night....it's a win win lol
The only thing I give two ****s about is getting our club back and everyone - at every angle - pulling in the same direction. Whether people have been going all the way through or tomorrow is their first game back in years shouldn’t matter, we’ve had enough **** thrown at us over the last few years so a positive mentality going forwards should be what everyone is aiming for. If it goes tits up further down the line then so be it, but it’d be nice if we could at least start by giving it a chance
I might have seen boycotting as self defeating and argued against it but that's finally irrelevant and anyone returning should unquestionably be welcomed with open arms. I would imagine many of the 'existing base' as he puts it have mates who've stopped going, understand why and will be delighted to see them back.
Looked it up. 2 goals from Roberts and 1 from Bannister. Seem to recall there were nearly as many Sunderland fans as City.
