The Allam's have gone and Grant has now gone, they are both history. Grant redeemed himself to a large degree and did his chances of getting another gig in the future no harm. He will go down in folklore as being one of only 4 managers/coaches I understand, to achieve being champions of a league, credit to him for that. We are now in a new era, can we now get behind the new owner and management team, and put the past in the past.
Yes we can John. Please though, can we do it without saying "going forward". I ****ing hate that expression.
I used to love Rugby league, but that was in the days of Gary Schofield and even Garry Pearce who used to live around the corner from me.
If it was not for Reading and Derby having points deductions the table would look a lot different. Stop thinking Grunt is the messiah because we got 2 lucky results. Yeah we was the better team against Blackburn, but that should have finished 1-1.
We still wouldn't be in the relegation zone and would be 5 clear. No one thinks he's the messiah but over the last 10 games we're 8th in the form table. Only 3 losses. So stop making a strawman about the last two games.
This season was about staying up, and he was doing that job, with or without the points deductions for Reading and Derby.
I used that to try and get it over to you the difference between spelling and grammar which you obviously are unaware of. No doubt you can hear spelling mistakes when people are talking.
No , on here it’s about 50 out and 50 in had to bollock the daughter for typing ‘me bad’ last week , seen it on here too. its ‘i’m bad ‘ etc , I was told it’s ‘modern language ‘ - it’s nonsensical and bad grammar IMO
Never understand why people use the argument of 'without the points deduction we'd be closer to the bottom 3'. Both Derby and Reading got that points deduction because they knowingly and intentionally cheated which allowed them to build the squad they currently have. We're at the complete other end of the spectrum with a tiny wage bill and until recently, no money to spend. Just because Reading and Derby spent their money appalling, they still spent more than they were allowed to do under FFP
It's posts like this why not606 need to add a 'LOL' option, not just the 'like' option we currently have.
