Kilcruit trying to get his head in front for the first time over hurdles at Punchestown. Mullins also runs 570,000 purchase Classic Getaway later in the afternoon. Priced up at 2/7 and 2/5 this evening if anyone is interested in a nice „Barney Rubble“
Kilcruit lands the odds in effortless style. Was that just a weaker race today (looked very much like it) or was he also seen to better effect leading from flag fall? He is 16/1 for both the Supreme and Ballymore novice hurdles - neither make appeal and I think the Punchestown festival might be his big chance again this year - the track seems to suit him.
Depends what else turns up. I'm also not sure Cheltenham suits him that much, given how he turned the form around with Sir Gerhard at Punchestown. He's been nibbled at for the County Hurdle (as low as 8/1 with Hills) but I'm not sure that would be Mullins' style
