My email is a Gmail account so I had to do the resend thing but it came through. I hope the email arrives tomorrow. They said 5 days before the event, it will he all automated so could be midnight tonight.
The media are lazy and always going to trot out 'battle of the giants' or 'David and Goliath' ... ... there'll be some quote about the entire Wycombe club costing less than Luke O'Nien's toothpaste budget. Totally predictable but I doubt any of us give a monkey's tbh.
I'm not setting up another email account just to get the tickets like, they can **** off* *By **** off I actually mean what's the best email account after Gmail
Nah. I've tried a few other tickets I purchased this season with the 'Resend email' to my gmail account, and its sent them, so I can sleep safe knowing at least the system knows my correct address. haha
so long as you didnt have your VPN on when you applied nee bother, but i often forget to switch off and it wont recognise me
For the Wycombe fans who think there'll be half a dozen silent Mackems in their sections ... ... here's the lads during the total away fan ban at Luton
Great thread as usual @RTB , but that goes without saying. Great effort throughout the season, and very much appreciated. Take a bow mate..... Well, last one this season, and hopefully the last ever one in this league. I'm going for a 3 - 1 win to the lads. A nervy score of 2 - 1 going into the last 5 minutes, but Stewart to score and settle everyone's nerves. To all those going down, hope you all have a day to remember and, for many, see us win at Wembley. Sing your hearts out lads, and safe travels.
The sort of media reporting I expected has started a bit later than I thought it would. Nothing about our ticket sales other than a small mention in the same article
What a weird thing to say on the eve of a massive match. Wycombe Wanderers manager Gareth Ainsworth stated that a role at Reading would interest him in the future. "In response to whether the role at Reading would interest him, Ainsworth replied: “Yeah of course, it’s a huge club. I was lucky enough to play at Elm Park, it’s a historic big, big club." https://www.readingchronicle.co.uk/news/20141298.wycombe-wanderers-boss-future-reading-fc/
I wouldn't be happy if that was Neil talking about other clubs or jobs 4 days before a game, let alone a play off final. Even more bizarre is that Reading confirmed Ince as manager yesterday, surely the professional response would have been - they have a manager, I am fully committed to Wycombe and focused only on the game on Saturday?
The Ince appointment (as caretaker) was a bizarre and left field considering he'd been out of the dugout for 8 years but he's done well for them Quite what Ainsworth is doing talking about the job is beyond me - maybe he's after a pay rise
