"We will be busy in the market, we are going to bring some players in to make it happen," he said. "He (Dervişoğlu) brings quality and gives us more options as there are games and games - it never stops." That's what Shota said to Baz, and he's talking as if it's a done deal
Dervisoglu and woods are done brentford wouldnt of left him out the squad Not sure if woods is needed though especially since traore will be back another winger or wing back would of been more sensible
We need depth for a 46 game season. Cannon will probably go and Woods will be an improvement on what we had on the bench yesterday
Have we got Traore? Still not listed on OWS and we don't really know when he'll be fit and if he's any good.
Might be -but with Traore and Seri injured at the moment, then if we pick up another injury then suddenly we are looking a bit light in midfield. Not saying Woods will be an automatic starter, but we don't know if Tufan, Jones or Seri will be able to play every week in a 46 game season.
I like it, if we’re playing as a 3 it gives us cover for each position. There’ll be times where Tufan and Seri aren’t on it and we need to grind out results a bit more, Doc, Woods and Jones can help with that.
I would agree... We play a midfield 3, so you would need 3 to start and a couple of replacements from the bench. Its not that many for a long season.
Baz says he’s going to be announced this coming week finally. Saw a picture on Instagram the other day without his knee brace on so he’s making progress.
Few more places in Turkey talking up Pelkas to City. Seems to be gathering pace a bit with the delay in the premier league ‘number 10’.
Fenerbahçe reached an agreement with Hull City for Pelkas, which Jorge Jesus did not consider in the team. If the 28-year-old football player agrees to be transferred, the signatures will be signed soon. Fenerbahçe is expected to earn 3.5 million Euros from this transfer.
Not really, if we’re playing 5 at the back, can’t see how he fits in the team. Probably at centre half knowing Shota.
Hopefully after yesturdays performance he doesnt go back to 5 in the back Yesturday was our best performance yet with 4 defenders. 451/433 seems to work good with tetteh out wide who can bring down long balls and goalkicks thats how we got both goals yesturday. 1st goal tetteh brough it down and played estupinan 2nd goal was a long ball to tetteh again brought it down and shot getting the corner that we scored from
I would agree and despite our transfer business (both signings and targets) and current squad seemingly being geared towards some variation of a 4-5-1, Shota has always maintained he wants to go 5 at the back. So we can only assume that is the plan, in which case what was the point in signing Sinik. Although actually Pelkas is the natural central player isn’t he, so he would fit in to that, I think I was mixing him up with that Nkwaeme who is predominantly a wide player.
