I still remember turning to my old man and saying "Why did he.....?" for the nutmeg and then "Ooooooh!" before I'd finished the sentence!

Hmmmm dummy rather than nutmeg perhaps!

Ah, that one. I've never considered that a nutmeg, because you nutmeg a player in beating them and continue with the ball. But I suppose it is.

I love the goal Le Tiss got at Anfield....flicked the ball over Mark Wright's head twice and sidefooted into the corner......The Kop applauded the goal!!!!

the le tiss chip over Schmeichel. Just because he weaved through 4 players in the space of about 2 yards at 1 mile an hour with the ball stuck to his feet before beating old big red nose. Plus it was one of 6 goals the week after the pundits said you won't see 5 go past Man Utd (After the Newcastle 5.)

St Brendy - I remember that game. I was lucky enough to be visiting friends in Manchester who took me and mate to that game. The family had executive box and our seats were only a row or two away from the Utd players who were not playing (Keane, Cole, Van der Gow...). We got some extremely evil looks when jumping up to celebrate all three of the goals but I didn't care.. How often to you get to be in that situation in your footballing life !!

I especially remember the sound of disbelief when le tiss rolled the ball under Taibi - the whole stadium couldn't believe what had happened...

How about Suker's chip (more a scoop really) over Schmeichel at Euro '96 ?

The favourite that comes to mind was Danny Wallace against Liverpool. I think it won goal of the season. It was a Friday night game live on TV and it was a wonderful move culminating in an overhead kick into the top corner.
