I’ve not watched any of it as I expected the same. Do the people who have watched it think you need to start at series 1 or can you just dive in at the start of this series?
If you have time I try it from series 1 as it does have themes that go through the 3 series. Worth it as Sarah Lancashire really is very good in it.
Been meaning to give Happy Valley a go since I've heard good things, not sure what it's on over here though. Hoping not BritBox as that's one I don't have.
We made the same wrong assumption that it was just a ploddy wessie Heartbeat 7 years ago, so binged series1&2 at Christmas and have really enjoyed series 3, yes it was well worth watching the full story.
