Few randos are saying Ancelotti really likes Richarlison and may make a move for him as a possible Benzema replacement.

    DON CARLO YOU BEAUTIFUL MAN!

Also pissing myself laughing at the thought of Richarlison being at the same level as Benzema.

Kane’s apparently rejected an approach from Bayern according to a couple reports.

The man’s just determined to live a life of misery.

He and wife are probably totally happy with their lives in the UK.
Therefore it will have to a PL club or nothing.

There's no question he wants Shearer's record and knows it will take at least 2 seasons to get it.

It looks like it's between us and United, although I am now quietly fearful Chelsea will put in a ludicrous bid for him and he'll be tempted to work with Poch again. Although if Levy sells him to that lot I genuinely think the fans will burn the stadium down.

Of course if he stays here, our luck will have it that he gets to 259 goals and suffers a freak career ending injury.

Kate ain't going to Chelsea... would seriously tarnish his reputation if he chose to go there.
If he wants a trophy it's either United or Liverpool... United being the most likely.
He could stay with us cos next season Haarland will go to Real Madrid so he would be their replacement

Di Marzio saying Benzema’s definitely decided to accept the Saudi offer.

Come on, Don Carlo, Spurs’ R9 is waiting for your call.

    Kate going to Chelsea?

Didn't have her pegged as wanting to leave Wills yet...

Yahoo Japan (yes, Yahoo has cache in Japan, unlike anywhere in the western world since 1998) claims that Kyogo Furuhashi and Reo Hatate will be following Ange to us

I get the feeling they saw a Tribal Football article about the players Ange might sign, where Furuhashi and Hatate were mentioned, and ran with the blind guesswork to try and will it into existence

Apparently Ndombele wants to return to the club and revive his career.

If he we get Ange and his high pressing football, I reckon Ndombele could last about 10 mins before keeling over.

    Infuriating player.

Has the talent to be a balon d'or winner but none of the willpower.

It makes you appreciate the likes of Messi and Ronaldo and just how much hard work and graft you need along with all the natural talent.

Hell, makes you appreciate players who may not have the talent to be a worldbeater, but have the professionalism and workrate to contribute for every minute they're on the pitch

Case in point, Sissoko may have lacked skill to be a true replacement for Dembele, but he'd make damn sure to put in a shift to make the most of his raw physicality

Right but he was still bang average.

The world archetype of a player not blessed with outstanding natural gifts such as skill, pace or strength who has nonetheless reached incredible heights through relentless hard work and practice, is Harry Kane. No one else comes close.

If (I realise this 'if' is the biggest 'if' since Chamberlain said "if Adolf keeps his word, we have peace in our time") Ndombele gets his act together and actually starts taking himself seriously, and maybe a motivational coach like Ange could unlock this, it is literally a gamechanger. Solves multiple problems simultaneously and instantly upgrades the entire team.

Ndombele and Sissoko are both great examples of poor players for the level we need because of completely different reasoning.

Extremely talented, mentally weak and lazy vs technically challenged, strong and super fit.

The thing is that Sissoko could still be a useful asset to the team, albeit he shouldn't have been a nailed-on starter

On the other hand Ndombele should be a nailed-on starter, but doing so removes one tactical substitution every match as he'd be half dead by the 70th minute making him anything but an asset
