I was geniunely wondering if he had a cooling off period. He really didn't look comfortable, big move for him at his age with a family....I actually started to feel sorry for him. In today's football we are use to players playing for various clubs in their career, but looking tonight, it felt like Kane was old school, and I'm like shhite, oh dear.

 

Did United ever put a bid in for him?

 

He has only played half an hour, but, his game is to come deep and receive the ball. He likes to be involved in the build-up play. At first glance it looks like he’s been told to play on the shoulder of the last defender. That doesn’t suit his game at all. It’ll go wrong for him and Bayern if that continues.

 

No I think Levy putting the feelers out for £100m+ and a summer of headfck put us off.

Not just us either imo. I think it did with a few clubs who could afford him. There was little interest in the end.

 

It probably wasn't wise for Tuchel to play him in todays game, especially it being a losing final, cameras all over him as well. The quicker he plays a league game, and they come one after the other for him the better, so he can settle in, although 7th Sept the international games kick in, he might leave and not go back.

 

Levy seems such a shhite, and Kane being the gentleman has just gone along with it. I suppose he could do a Ronaldo and walk off.

I said this before, he should've shafted Levy by staying and leaving on a free with a pick of clubs to sign a pre-contract in January. He would've had lots more clubs to choose from. Maybe that's his problem - too much of a gentleman.

 

also its tuchel ball. if he plays the same tactics as it was at chelsea, the ball will go between the defenders, the wingers they'll try walk it into the area and then it'll go back to the defenders.

The striker barely touches it, makes some decent runs but the ball never comes in. They really need to sack him.
