MAYHEM MYA 10/1 Sandown 4:45 Ran a belter at Aintree behind Sans Bruit from 6lbs wrong. In the handicap proper this time and this does represent a drop in class. Course form in the book. Should give a very good showing.
Come on Kitty. Good luck everyone on this final day of this NH season. Don’t despair though a Punchy just round the corner
I'll take Danny Mullins to land another big pot for uncle Willie on Minella Cocooner. Has only run in chases on soft or heavy going but as a novice hurdler on better ground he only found stablemate The Nice Guy too good in a couple of grade 1s. You wouldn't say he was well treated in this but he has a bit of class and maybe the better ground can help him show a bit of improvement.
In the "Whitbreads Gold Cup" at Sandown, (known today as the "Bet365).(15:35), and without further ado, will plump for Kinondo Kwetu. Should stay the marathon distance OK. The very capable jumps jockey, Jonathan England, rides for the S. England stable. Track conditions, with near-perfect going for NH racing today, should suit the gelding well enough. 14/1 (Coral/Unibet) top price early-doors on the ATR site,. E/W best option of course.
Good pick Oddy, gutting for the runner up though. Ran a hell of a race off the front and kept finding. There must be a decent race for the Gordon’s to aim this one at next season. Fair play Willie miles ahead of the rest.
Blueking D’Oroux would have definitely got you a place but for a shuddering mistake down the back. Stuck on pretty well inspite of that mistake and worth keeping in the tracker
Totally agree, but for me, the most disappointing thing today was Sam Brown's awful start (last). If the jockey had been able to place him well and start in the top five or six, he would have been in the top three at the end, I would even dare to say that he would have been in with a chance of winning. Very, very disappointed with Freddie Gingell. From Sportinglife: "Off the pace towards rear, closer when stumbled 2 out, ridden between last two, stayed on same pace under pressure run-in op 18/1" From Racing Post: "Towards rear, stayed on after 2 out, never on terms (jockey said gelding was slowly away) (op 18/1) "
