It’s the original, usually £28 to £30 a bottle. I can’t see the Chairmans spiced though, where you seen that?
Thanks, I’ve got a lot to read up now, tomorrow may be. Out on it all day along Whitburn and Roker with my lass in half an hour. Walking and drinking, what’s not to like.
Not a Belgian lager or spice rum, but I've found a place that sells a pretty good sasparilla. It's not quite the vintage taste but very very close
Amazon £28 for the original, the other was £47. I’ve ordered it, comes tomorrow for a mender. Cheers.
Just seen the £47 stuff, it’s all the same, not sure why they are charging so much tbh. The original tag was only added to the label recently, before that the label always just said chairmans reserve spiced. Anyhow hope you enjoy it as much as i do. Oh and i hope it’s Still who gets the job, thought i’d mention it as the thread is about that .
After 66 years or so of supporting this lot I'm afraid I'm definitely in the looking up rather than down sector.
What the hell?? Is this the new coach thread or an AA meeting? I'm teetotal, so have absolutely no interest in alcohol!
I think Will Still makes a lot of sense. Felt like they wanted him after Mowbray but proved to difficult to get him mid season. Then we give Dodds 13 games because we wanted to wait for the season to attend before appointing, where Still ends up leaving Reims. I think there's a chance he's been the only real target we've had and the delay could be down to some legalities with Reims. Yes he's not there anymore, but I'd be surprised if they aren't due something (I mean they were reporting several million to get him mid season, you wouldnt of thought they will be okay with getting nothing only a few months later). As well as that, his stock is really high at the minute and I'd say 16th in the Championship is the absolute lowest he'd be looking to move to and would need things put in place to give him the best chance of succeeding. That would then tie in with the rumoured movement in the coaching team. Can understand scepticism with him and his experience, but this for sure would be showing some ambition. He's a young manager coming off good work with a lot of support from every club he has worked at with no real tainted experiences to note in his career so far. And like I said earlier, he could get a job for a team in a better position or even better league than us imo. Wont get any criticism for me if we go with Still, would love to see it happen in the next few days and start to get excited for next season.
I love Czech beers. Budvar, Staropramen, Krusovice, Bernard. Sadly, the one I loved the most, Gambrinus, has moved out of the Czech Republic to the Balearics, I believe.
Really? I didn't know that. I know that some Czech breweries are owned by Asahi now. Is it something to do with that?
