Watching a brass band playing on BBC this morning and was wondering why do they have sheet music on all their instruments when bands can play instruments just from memory?

Odd SKP saying people say to him that if it wasn't for Quinn he wouldn't have got the goals he did, thought has never crossed my mind in 20 odd years. They complimented each other. Argument could be made that Phillips wouldn't have gotten the 30 seaon without Quinn, but that's all pie in the sky.

 

That follow up one he did about chicken farming turned my stomach. Can only hope regulations are tighter here about what constitutes 'free range'

I struck lucky this evening tbh.

Invited for a BBQ with the boss and his wife. He'd just been to Balgove butchers, St Andrews, for steaks and served them with Bread & Butter red wine. Wonderful views over the Fife coastline, gardens in full bloom and lovely people ...

... a happy evening that I'll always remember, brought a tear to my eye.

Hmm. confused. Rishi’s intended “ national service “ 25 day s of community service - he says is opportunity and a great thing for the youngsters to receive, they should be pleased.
Will those youngsters be working alongside the anti social thugs who supposedly get community service and are to regard it as punishment?

 

Got to be the stupidest idea I’ve ever heard.

 

…… and the follow up that paying for it from levelling up money - he says that if northern youngsters and southern youngsters do the same community service - it’ll mean levelling is happening . Beggars belief.
