    Just looking on line at a playoff final from two of my local non-league teams in the Southern League Premier South, & Scott Rendall was playing for AFC Totton, Sido Jombati was playing for Salisbury, made 45 appearences this season

    Portsmouth's manager played for Wycombe. And there are a few more that have done well

    A good footballer for us RIP. I was in the school football team with his younger brother Marytn who went onto play for QPR,

    Just looked at the clubs he played for, didn't realise how few games he played for us, before going onto a successful pro career

    Ah, I had a few mates from there. Used to play football and cricket down the Rye. The only one whose name I remember was Alan Hutchinson who became a commentator for Wycombe

    John Akindi has been released by Colchester,my god he must be really crap now if they let him go. <laugh><laugh>

    I see Alex Samuel scored for Inverness Caly Thistle yesterday didn't do them a lot of good they still got relegated

    Matt Phillips has been released by West Brom i wonder if we will look at bringing him home. <whistle>

    I think the only chance of that is if he feels he will be playing out the rest of his career, not many teams in higher leagues being interested, and our owner is happy to take a 33 year old

    McCleary is still going strong, I would guess it would depend on his injury record, otherwise players do look after themselves far better than did 10 or 15 years ago

    A one year contract (possibly 2) with option to extend would be my thought

    Fred Onyedinwa has left Luton as his contract ran out and was not renewed,this is one i would certainly be happy to see back.

    I would think he would look at coming back to us as a step backwards after playing in the Premier League last season, then again I think I read somewhere he was out on loan & got recalled because of Luton's injuries
