Off to see Anthrax/Kreator/Testament play in November, can't wait for that one. Favourite metal tune is anything by Faith No More

California Dreaming being sung on an American show which forced the artistes to mime, Michelle Philippes hated miming so she ate a banana through the performance.

Queen II - Side Black (1 side of album was called Side White, the flip side was Side Black)
Black side needs listening as if 'one song', as they each flow into one another .... Ogre Battle ...Fairy Fellers Masterstroke ...Nevermore...March of the Black Queen.... (sorry, couldn't find all 4 as one medley)
Try to imagine this springing up out of nowhere in 1974. A 'wtf just happened' moment. (Not totally true for those that had heard the 1st album Queen (1) with Liar, My Fairy King, etc), but this was the start of their real breakthrough). Pity to my mind they didn't stay on this path for a bit longer.

There was in interesting article in the Times today. Steve Marriot's (Small Faces) daughter is fighting her stepmother, Steve's 3rd marriage before he died, who is wanting to release music using AI using Steve's voice.

There is a big pushback from her and the likes of Weller, Gilmore, Frampton, Adams & Plant, saying a singers voice is his own property and shouldn't be used without their permission.

It seems to me a very dangerous path to follow, should this be allowed.
