Wouldn't be surprised at anything to be honest.

I know back to backs are some achievement but big 6? Seems a bit early to me.

Spoke to a Birmingham City fan yesterday holidaying up here. They are very keen on Liam Rosenior and think we were mad for letting him go. He said he is favourite for the job and the feeling in Brum is they are hoping he accepts it. They are very impressed with his work at City and particularly for getting us from 14th to 7th in the Championship last season. This Brum fan thought it would be a step up for him because 'Birmingham are a bigger club than Hull'. All Brum fans were praying and hoping we would beat Plymouth on the last day of the season, something I was unaware of, and this fella was literally gushing in praise for Rosy. He said he thought 'Hull played some great football last season'.

He did a reasonable job at Derby under the circumstances, but he's already become a bit of a laughing stock in managerial/coaching terms. Would players respect him for the great player he was more than the poor manager he's been? Hard to say, really

Apparently Acun is set to become Vice Chairman of Fenerbache.

The Vice-Chairman of Fenerbahçe thing worries me, to be honest. Remember when Acun first bought the club and lots of Turks online said ‘he’s going to use Hull City as a money-laundering operation for his friends at Fenerbahçe’? Initially, I just put it down to salty Galatasaray fans but the £4 million plus 50% sell-on for Allahyar was quite suspicious when you think about it. He’s a lifelong Fenerbahçe fan and now he’s on their board. How long before he gets bored of City and starts treating us like a minor partner in a multi-club enterprise? It’s his decision and his money but my gut tells me I don’t like it.

Well, yeah lol. He sold that club as quick as he bought it when he didn’t get what he wanted and sensed push-back from the supporters. His record of buying and selling clubs in a short timeframe is quite concerning to me as a supporter. Joining the Fenerbahçe board, the club he actually supports himself as a football fan, could mean a shift in his priorities. The way players bounce between Watford and Udinese isn’t something I’d want to see at City. Watford get some players on loan but the best ones go to Udinese. I feel for clubs like Troyes who are part of the City Group. They sign a talent like Sávio, he never plays for Troyes, goes out on loan to Girona in La Liga and does brilliantly then Troyes sell him to Man City without him ever playing a game for them.

I didn't blame them for not wanting to be a feeder club.

I'd ****ing hate us to be treat like one if it were ever to happen.

I've said it for a while now, he's positioning himself to be the owner in the future

Yeah and I just don’t know what that means for us. Fenerbahçe are a much bigger club than us but we also deserve an owner who gives us undivided attention with no conflict of interest. Every club does. I don’t begrudge Shelbourne fans for not wanting to be a minor partner in a multi-club ownership scenario.

Warnings about wanting to go back and own a top club have been around for a while and what potentially will happen once or if we get to the prem or sooner if that does not work out.

Then there is the other whispers Acun is on the board there now and the Biscuit man and Ali could soon be in our club if or when we get to the prem a deal which allows Acun on the board there that suits them all if it were to go down that route 2 clubs in top leagues at not a great price for them to pay but would also allow a larger spend capacity once the club was promoted to challenge for europe which they would obviously want to challenge the top clubs.

I wouldn't see it as 'criticising', but I would see it, rightly, as asking questions about what, if anything, it means for us.
My concern would simply be related to the focus and time he has available for us.
