Surprised about Rashford hes been resting his legs this season at Man U so would have been fresh for this one!!!

I am 100% the expert on these things and this 100% will be the team 110%.

    Pickford

    Walker Stones Maguire Trippier

    Mainoo Rice

    Saka Bellingham Foden

    Kane

If Declan Rice gets injured. Who is the experienced cover?

We don't have any 'experienced' cover in midfield.
Should Rice get injured expect to muddle through with a combination of Trent, Mainoo and Gallagher....even Stones.

I think Red Alert's team will start.
It will be interesting seeing which team Southgate goes with........we look exciting going forward but look distinctly dodgy in defence.

I can’t see Mainoo starting, pretty sure he’s not completed more than 60 mins in a game for Utd this season. I’d have TAA in that midfield ahead of Mainoo everyday of the week

Its a top top top formation. to110% maybe 120% England aint that dodgy in defence and dont concede manyn at all but but but

Sticking TAA at cdm alongside Rice would be a way of putting some dodgy in he would need a A-Z to find cdm.

    FYI.

45% of games he's gone the full 90.
TWICE he was subbed in the 65th.
The rest between 80 and 90 minutes.

If you prefer TAA, it's your perogative but to mention game time you are completely wrong.

I heard it on Talksport a couple of weeks ago. Sorry. Yes, TAA is a FAR better option than Mainoo

Kobbie Mainoo gets better with every game and he's only 19 a month ago.
Everyone raves, quite rightly, about Bellingham and Foden but think Mainoo might join them as 1 of our outstanding players in the Euros.

SO what would prefer he gave 1 or he gave 100% or 1.2 or 120%?
In context if all the players gave their all you could say they are gave 100% or 1 /10 /100 [ no matter the % yardstick is ]. so one player stood out more than the rest so does he get 1/10/100 or 100%. TO MAKE THAT DEFINITION you would need to reduce the others by say a tenth? so that would be .9 / 9/ 90 or 90%

100% is expected 120% would be a modicum of assessed effort beyond that which would have been expected to have pulled their weight so quite an acceptable terminology

our WELSH compatriots are more in keeping with the use of 150% 200% etc due to the large farms breeding sheep! when a flock of 100 sheep only have 90 lambs the lambing percentage of the flock is 90%. this could mean that some sheep had none most had 1 and some had 2.
My cousin in the highlands who used to have over 2000 ewes had a lambing % of 160% last time before his heart attack caused him to retire. on the back of the barn door was a chart went back 30 odd years best ever was 175% average was around 140% but first 12 years [ I think ] was around 110% best about 120% ..

125% i had Grealish on my bench. Should be in just for the pass to TAA alone v Bosnia. Experienced, wins fouls xxx 20

Good looking lad which is maybe the problem as Southgate looks like a horse. Mrs Southgate will be watching love island now!!!

I hated Grealish when we played against him for all the reasons you’ve said. He’s horrible to play against. Southgate has never rated him - bringing him on reluctantly as a sub on 85 minutes.
I know he hasn’t featured a lot for Man C this season but he brings something to the side that nobody else can.
    Bad move IMHO.

As others have said he brings something different. Defenders hate playing against him, I would have taken him. Imo he needs to change club to one where he plays regularly.

Southgate knew he hadn’t featured much for Man C before the recent ‘trial’ friendlies - when he did well.
Crazy decision to include him in the friendlies if his mind was made up already based on his Man C appearances
