Fair bit north of my old stomping ground mate - but it's a lovely part of Leicestershire - you are close to the Vale of Belvoir (pronounced Beaver!) which is lovely with several picturesque villages and nice country pubs - Nether Broughton would be one and Old Dalby is another (if memory serves) - if you are in Melton itself try and get some freshly baked pork pie from the market - it really is ****ing delicious when it is still warm from the ovens - also one of the few towns that is allowed to make Stilton... enjoy and let us know how you got on ...
