    I really hope the lads can do it, but no matter what they have done amazing this season and when you consider that quite a few of our first team are eligible to play as well it shows the depth we have bubbling underneath. This is what we have had to build in just over 2 years and is a credit to the club at a time when a lot of fans are firing arrows.

    Well said. We've obviously focused on youth in the Dreyfus era and it's been a bit hit and miss in the first team, but it was a hell of a task to restock the entire club with young talent and they've done great. It was essential that they did so for the model to work long term.

    Credit to Murty as well clearly and the club for hiring him.

    I may be wrong but would a glorious high scoring defeat, perhaps on penalties, be the best thing for these lads ...

    ... confidence is more fragile, at that age, and being thumped every week may not help their development.

    Having said that I'll cheer my head off if they win <laugh>
