Yeah I get that, unfair to criticise on something that hasn’t even happened! I am starting to feel pessimistic about the potential appointment but Neil/Johnson/Beale all kind of came out the blue so could be someone totally random yet and we’ll all end up looking back and laughing

Relax and accept. It will be who it will be and there is nothing we can do about it. Probably be an ante-climax with the new appointment being someone who has not been heard of/ or heard of and not fancied. We will struggle until Xmas when the new head coach will be sacked and it will start all over again. The outcome will be us involved in a relegation struggle up to the end of the season! THE SEEING EYE HAS SPOKEN! Sorry for the negativity but sixty-three years as a SAFC supporter can do strange things to the human psychie.

Still think it happens, personally. It was practically done.

I’m actually curious to whether anyone’s “sources” are hearing the same as fishpaste. I think that will be telling if they haven’t

Just like how I was confused that no journo had properly linked Still with us, I'm just as confused as to why no journo has came out and said he's turned us down.

    Nothing is making sense.

    Games are being played.

Thing is, aside from on the forums - nowt more has been said. I know what I’ve been told and it’s the same with others. Fishpaste is the first person to really acknowledge the interest in the media. Games.

I'm not ITK but the lad who told me was absolutely certain and he's been right about the SOL plans, kit changes, Pritchard, etc, in advance.

    I'm quite confident about this.

I tend to think you are probably correct. An agent mate says all sorts gets into the media, even mainstream, that is planted to give folk a nudge. It is why I said the liverpool lad, and probably Svenson, seemed to come out of nowhere and were likely smoking folk out. I can see the Norwich thing being the same but the other way round. I spoke to a mate at Norwich earlier and he reckoned they had 1 bloke in mind when they sacked the last one and that it is all but done.

I know this is naieve, but this sort of game playing doesnt seem to be a solid basis to start what needs to be a close working relationship. Trust needs to present I would say.

Anyway, it is a bank holiday, plus shut down Tuesday for me, so I am going to kick back, drink some wine and play some golf. Actually playing with my agent mate Monday, but he is about as much use a chocolate teapot when it comes to giving me info. Nice wine though if I beat him :1980_boogie_down:

Hope so mate No idea if he will work out but like the look of him and his teams. Think it’s the kick start the club needs this summer

Have we considered just having a season off? Let the stadium go fallow and come back nice and refreshed for 25/26?

If it was practically done, then what games would there be to play and from whom? Hopefully still gets done but I don't hold out much hope when it comes to this club
