FP1 hinting that it should be interesting. Merc look quicker, McLaren quick, Leclerc in particular seriously rapid on the mediums. Doesn’t feel like a walk in the park for RBR this weekend. So far.
It's going to be a procession not a race as cars can't pass anywhere but oh hey. At least it's now clear red bull are toast. Yay.
Ferrari looked quick all weekend haven’t they. Id be surprised if McLaren haven’t got a little bit up their sleeve to get closer, they appear to have been slowly building. At the moment it looks as if Mercedes have once again been okay out the box but have then had to tweak the setup and are compromised compared to the competition. Alonso shown glimpses but don’t think there’s quite enough in that Aston for him to work the magic needed for a pole!
Ferrari proving to have the best traction. Everyone else is really redbull lite.but ferrari can now show their engine traction However haas and sauber are the only others using them and they are not exactly good. The merc being up there is mildly interesting but right ow unless le clerc bins ot he walks this race but anyone else could be anywhere. The brat is back close in second by tje end of p3.
OK yes there can be safety cars but this is one stop so as long as le clerc can build a gap then he should have tjat space to use the car. Verstappen hasn't the luxury to have tyres for later any more.
It's really not worth the traffic here. If perez goes out in q1 then he might as well retire after rlap 1 tomorrow. K mag and hulk showing ferrari pave here. It's all engineering traction! Vottas amd Zhou showing how tragic thst car is though
Perez the joke as per. I'd not even out the car out in the grid tomorrow. Save thr parts. Tooling around on hards for 60 laps in 27th all day? **** thst. Alonso also out.
It's really tight. As the engines ramp up and rubber goes down we are seeing the big 5 emerging but merc are in here.
Tbf won races in the Red Bull when Mercedes were at least a second a lap quickly between 2016 and 2020.
