Let's not pretend it's not happening. What do we think, we going to win? Or even compete! One or two 'injured' guys coming out of the woodwork for this one, namely Rashford, Varane, Mount and Martial. Wouldn't be surprised if Luke Shaw waddles on at some point, to show he's 'fit' for the Euro's. My team, if those claiming to be fit actually are, would be; 4 3 3 Onana AWB Varane Martinez Dalot Mainoo Casemiro Fernandes Rashford (only because he does tend to try in this game) Hojlund Garnacho (probs deserves to start over Diallo, just) Subs; Mount, Eriksen, Diallo, Antony, Kambwala, McTominay etc. etc. Hopefully we've got a shock up our sleeve.
Could play either way with some of these arseholes thinking that a really bad result will seal ETH's departure. Hopefully not and we'll see a bit of spirit and hopefully half their squad are still pissed.
Team news - How the **** can ETH drop Hojlund for Rashford - complete madness (just watch Rashford scolre three now).
Even when the world has apparently come to an end for Manchester United, they still win trophies! Amazing!
Great photo - the bright future of the club... One point, the elephant in the room - where the **** was that performance, that energy, that passion all season. Playing like that we could have been real contenders, hopefully next season we might. There is no hiding place for anyone at the club after that performance.
We can't really play like that against everyone, it's ideal against City as we give up possession and hit on the break, but it's not suitable against the teams that want to do pretty much that, but to us. They need to replicate that work rate all the time though. I still think we've got some decent players, they need to stay fit together and get some consistency going. It's mad to see Varane play like that alongside Martinez and realise he's leaving anyway!
I've been meaning to post this but keep forgetting. Let's not forget we beat Liverpool in a stonker of a game en route to the final and then beat City. Hasn't been mentioned in the media either btw.
I still can’t believe we actually won the FA Cup beating those two unbeatable teams along the way. Then took away Newcastle’s qualification for Europe while at it. Hilarious!
Errrrrr so Sancho who left on loan to Dortmund under a cloud of dirt of his own making was apparently, according to the media, going to win the Champions League and show Ten Hag and United. That was the narrative right. Oh dear. How d'u like them apples... please log in to view this image
I think that is actually one of the situations that a different manager would have handled differently. Sancho certainly wouldn’t be the most difficult player we have had over the years. That said, Sancho should be sold. No need to try and change what is done which will also unsettle the squad. There are many other players in the squad that are vying and capable of taking that spot. Amad comes to mind first.
