According to Romano Maresca is 'super keen' to join Chelsea ... if that's so, hurry up and **** off Enzo ... thanks for last season but with the squad inherited you did have some distinct advantages - as did the other relegated teams...
If Enzo is 'super keen' to join Chelsea, he's not as bright as he looks. His fledgling reputation as a manager has started to build nicely with us, he'll undo that if he goes there. Two words of warning Enzo, Graham Potter!
Chelsea have made an official approach. Hopefully, we've been using the time during the speculation to sound our some decent replacements.
Does the compensation we will receive get used to ease our possible financial penalty? If it helps keep KDH I will help carry Enzos bag.
I don't know which party is the more deluded in this proposed deal. Do Chelsea think that Maresca with one year's managerial experience in the Championship is a better option than the recent internationally experienced incumbents that have been thrown out of the job? And does Maresca believe that he can succeed in a club run by egotists that think they know better than the manager? If he does get the job I'd urge him not to unpack his suitcase too soon.
The advantage he has Iver recent encumbered is that he is inheriting a team in-form rather than one struggling both in terms of results and identity - Poch dud a fine job by the end if it and if his leaving us down to the club, then they are, quite frankly nuts. If Maresca minimises tinkering both to the composition and tactics he could have quite a comfortable first quarter - mre than happy for him to sign Vestergaard and Coady if he wants to make their defence the slowest in the prem!!
